And Then I Stepped in Gum
Growing up can feel confusing, exciting, frustrating, and amazing… sometimes all in the same day.
One minute you feel like you’ve got everything figured out, and the next minute life throws something unexpected your way, like stepping in gum on your way to somewhere important.
In And Then I Stepped in Gum, author Charlotte Hopkins offers teens a practical, honest, and encouraging guide to navigating the ups and downs of life. From building confidence and handling friendships to managing money, staying safe, and planning for the future, this book covers the real-life skills every teen should know but rarely learns in school.
Inside you’ll discover:
• Life skills every teen should know before adulthood
• How to handle peer pressure, stress, and bad days
• Tips for friendships, family relationships, and dating
• Advice on school, jobs, money, and responsibility
• Health, self-confidence, and taking care of yourself
• Fun facts, quizzes, and lists to help you learn along the way
Life will always have its messy moments. But with the right tools, confidence, and a little humor, you can handle whatever comes your way.
Because sometimes… you step in gum.
And sometimes… you keep walking anyway.
