Cara Krezek is a Canadian author, entrepreneur and leadership strategist whose work explores careers, identity, resilience and reinvention. She is the author of *I Just Got Fired: Turning Your Worst Career Moment Into Your Best New Chapter*, a candid and practical guide to navigating job loss and using career disruption to build a more purposeful next chapter.

Her writing is grounded in more than two decades of experience in career development, talent strategy and higher education. Cara is also the lead author of the peer-reviewed academic chapter “Reimagining Performance Management: A Strengths-Based Process Designed to Offer MORE to the Supervisor and Employee,” which introduces the MORE framework for strengths-based performance coaching.

Cara is the founder and Chief Purpose Officer of The Apiary Inc. She holds a master’s degree in leadership, is a certified CliftonStrengths coach and is a nationally recognized leader in experiential education. She lives in Niagara, Ontario.
