About
Lori Collins is an author, publisher, and educator, and the founder of JL Collins Publishing LLC, an independent press producing non-fiction and fiction across multiple genre lines.
Under her own name she has published fourteen works of practical non-fiction in two lanes: business and real estate titles for working practitioners, and life-guidance titles for readers navigating late-diagnosed ADHD, caregiving for aging parents, retirement alone, and health after forty. Her approach is consistently systems-based and non-prescriptive.
Prior to founding the press, she held a real estate license as an associate broker and led her own team, retiring from active practice in 2026. That operating experience is the basis for her business catalog.
She additionally writes fiction under four pen names, spanning mystery, thriller and suspense; romantasy; and contemporary romance.

Canyon Ghosts
Natalie Cole disappeared six months ago.
Then she called.
A single phone call sends Gillian Cole racing to a remote Utah town where secrets run deeper than the canyons surrounding it.
Hidden in Devil's Throat Canyon is a notebook containing evidence of missing hikers, government corruption, and a classified project known only as Canyon Ghost.
As Gillian follows the trail, she discovers a secret facility buried beneath the desert and a terrifying truth that challenges everything she believes about memory, identity, and what it means to be human.
And someone is willing to kill to keep it hidden.
