Over the decades of my adult life, I've worked in higher education, journalism, and now creative writing.

Born and raised Irish-Catholic near Boston. I've been researching my Irish-Catholic ancestors for 10 months, including a trip to Ireland this past January (2026). Learning a great deal of Irish history, as well as Celtic mythology and early times of the blending of myth and Christianity on the island.

I'm working on a fiction/mythology novel; it's a new legend about the Grail Kingdom, set in Ireland. After three years of research, I am actively writing the story. Hope to have the final manuscript by next summer. I will be returning to Ireland this fall for more visits to sacred sites, graveyards, museums, wells, and walking the land.
