Dr Helen Maffini is an educator, author and consultant with more than thirty years of experience in international education. She is the co-author of Developing Children's Emotional Intelligence (Bloomsbury) and the founder of MindBE Education, where she trains teachers to bring mindfulness, emotional intelligence and social and emotional learning into early childhood classrooms. She holds an EdD from the University of Bath, with doctoral research on mindfulness with young children. Her work has reached educators across more than twenty countries through curriculum, teacher training and international summits.
