Courtney A. Desy, BSN, RN, OCN is an oncology nurse, educator, and health writer whose work focuses on making cancer care more understandable and compassionate for patients, caregivers, and clinicians. She has authored 17 published articles in publications including AJN Off the Charts, Oncology Nursing News, Holistic Nursing Practice, ONS Voice, The Joint Commission Journal on Quality and Patient Safety, and WBUR Cognoscenti. She is the founder and executive director of the Stronger Than Chemo Foundation and is currently reviewing a publishing agreement with Johns Hopkins University Press for her first book, Stronger Than Chemo. Courtney lives in Massachusetts.
