Mary Snoddy is a horticultural educator, gardening writer, and frequent speaker known for making science-based gardening approachable and enjoyable. She teaches in Master Gardener and Lifelong Learning programs, writes the popular blog Garden Hints for the Southeast, and shares practical advice with gardeners throughout the region. A South Carolina native, Mary lives in Landrum, South Carolina. Her first book, Garden Envy, is being published by University of South Carolina Press in early 2027.
