About
I was born in Ireland and emigrated to Canada in the late fifties. I met my Chinese husband figure skating and we have been together for over fifty years, have three children and three grandchildren who all live in Canada. I started my nursing career in England and continued in Canada and the US, eventually getting my MSN-ed. Our whole family have always loved music, art and writing and I have been self publishing ever since I moved to Maui 21 years ago. I have traveled around the world - Europe, China and all over the US, USVI and American Samoa. As a certified psychiatric nurse I am an active volunteer in Disaster Mental Health and Disaster Health Services with the American Red Cross.
My novel, THE LOST CODE OF CH'ANGDO, takes place in North Korea during a time of rigid military communist rule which explores the effect of extreme autocratic leadership, its sociopolitical implications, culture, international espionage and the incredible dynamics of radio propagation and an escape mission with only rudimentary use of Morse code.
