KaT B. is a Georgia-based Black writer whose work explores women, survival, intimacy, memory, and the records people keep when truth is at risk. She has loved creative writing since childhood and completed her first novel, THE DOOR, at age forty-four. She has a degree in Business Administration and works in behavioral health care coordination for a Fortune 50 company where she assists homeless individuals with the housing voucher process, advocacy, and resource linkage.
