Now retired, Kevin Quinn was a research scientist at Northwestern University Medical School before moving to the National Institute of Mental Health where he was Chief of the Behavioral Science and Integrative Neuroscience Research Branch and then the Director of the Office of Science Policy, Planning, and Communication. Kevin’s academic scholarship includes 21 publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals, 4 book chapters and 24 abstracts/presentations at scientific conferences. For the past ten years Kevin has written a blog under the name of the "Graymountaineer" about his hiking and mountain climbing activities. He is on the board of the Sturgeon Bay Historical Society, is a docent at the Door County Granary Museum, leads urban history tours of Sturgeon Bay and currently is collaborating with a retired Door County Sheriff's Deputy on writing a book in the true crime genre.
