Ayser Salman is a writer and Emmy nominated producer/editor whose focus is on projects with an eye toward representation, inclusion and shedding a light on underrepresented communities.
An Iraqi-born Muslim, Ayser spent her formative years in Kentucky, with a short stint in Saudi Arabia. This nomadic childhood made her constantly feel like a fish out of water, while also shaping her interest for storytelling.
Her comic memoir, “The Wrong End of the Table,” was published in 2019 by Skyhorse Publishing and is being developed as a TV series.
