Matthew DeLorenzo is an emerging poet and writer from New York. His work is driven by a love of language, emotional honesty, and the belief that words should be felt as much as understood. He writes about trauma, self-hatred, visceral mental health struggle, love and the destruction of its loss, behavior, psychology, philosophy, social structure, confession, judgment, wrath, resilience, humor, and the duality of the mind. He is currently developing a poetry collection and a novel while beginning to enter the literary world through submissions, membership, and continued study of the craft.
