I was born in Washington, North Carolina with deep ancestral roots in my home state stretching back to the 17th century. I received my BS in Education from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia and, as a life-long learner and wearer of multiple hats, have worked as a teacher, social worker, television re-enactment actress, nationally certified massage therapist, writer, and award-winning photographic artist. My husband and I live in the lovely, historic town of Edenton, North Carolina, sharing our quirky, little 1890s cottage with our dogs and the memories of loved ones with whom we have shared our lives. I am the author of a middle grade supernatural mystery series published by Blue Ink Press—Zephyr Stone and the Moon Mist Ghost, Zephyr Stone and the Haunted Beach House, and Zephyr Stone and the Frosty Phantom. Blue Ink Press will release the final book in the series in 2027.
