About
Born and raised in the Philippines, Ms. Pearson emigrated to the U.S. at 18. Though she has held careers in insurance, journalism, and market research, she has never lost her childhood dream of becoming a writer. While most of Ms. Pearson’s writing reflects life experiences of love, loss, and healing, she injects a touch of magic into her stories to uplift readers and instill hope and happiness. “After all, magic is like the cream in my coffee, the maple syrup to my pancakes, the patis in pancit.” Ms. Pearson now lives in Marlton, New Jersey, with her husband of 35 years, who has been her biggest supporter and cheerleader throughout her writing journey.
Bound by Destiny is her debut novel, and she has a second book, Legacy of the Gift, Book One: Goddess of a Thousand Eyes, coming in 2026.
