Recoil of Justice
A routine lawsuit was supposed to end in a settlement. It ended in blood.
When Houston attorney Ryan Wolfe takes on a tech theft case, he expects courtroom battles and corporate coverups. Instead, his investigation uncovers something far darker - stolen software weaponized by a Mexican cartel to run untraceable auctions for human trafficking and organ harvesting on the dark web.
The case becomes devastatingly personal when someone close to Ryan is kidnapped and listed for sale in the cartel's encrypted network. Now the meticulous lawyer must abandon his courtroom for a cross-border rescue operation, trading legal briefs for bullets and becoming the very thing he swore to oppose, a man willing to kill.
As Ryan navigates deadly cartel enforcers, a corrupt tech billionaire, and his own fractured conscience, he discovers that justice has a recoil. Saving the innocent means sacrificing his soul, and the line between hero and criminal vanishes in the crosshairs of his rifle.
John Grisham meets Jack Carr in this high-stakes thriller that merges legal drama with pulse-pounding action, exploring how far one man will go when the price for justice is paid in blood.
Dive in and discover if Ryan Wolfe is willing to pay the price.
