Toni Fuhrman is the author of Imperfect Heart: A Journal, a Book Club, and a Global Pandemic (2024) as well as four novels: Only Yesterday, A Windless Place, The Second Mrs. Price, and One Who Loves. Her work has appeared in various literary journals, including Thrice Fiction, Hospital Drive (the University of Virginia School of Medicine), Eclipse, and Third Wednesday. Her short story, "The Leftover King," is included in the Adelaide Books Children's Literature and Illustration Award 2019. Her story, “Water Moon,” is included in the Adelaide Literary Award Anthology: Best of 2017. Toni lives in Los Angeles. Her personal essays on writing and reading are at tonifuhrman.com.
