About
Carrie Salo is a dark storyteller and emerging author of supernatural thrillers. Her debut novel, The Sounding, was published in 2011 by a small press, and went on to win the Book Excellence Award for Best Thriller. After taking time off to start a family, Carrie is now once again focused on writing and about halfway to completing two WIPS. Although she prefers long form fiction, she has contributed short stories to several anthologies. While she is mostly focused on fiction these days, Carrie has also worked for many years in the agency world as a creative copywriter, and on her own as a freelance writer.
