My first book, Color Blind: The Forgotten Team that Broke Baseball's Color Line, was released by Grove/Atlantic in 2013. Booklist named it one of the year's Top Ten sport books. My latest, White Knights in the Black Orchestra, was published in fall 2022 by Hachette Book Group.
