Over my many years I have created songs, bad poetry, short stories, sudden fiction, news articles, magazine articles, screenplays, blog posts, public relations writing, advertising copy and even copy for a cookbook. A writer in Italy found some of my sillier work on the internet and insisted that I was the only one she would trust to edit her fantasy novels. Even though I don't write fantasy. But I edited 3 of her novels, and she won a prize for one. Yay! Two other types of writing that I don't excel at are sports and self-promotion. I was raised to believe that promoting oneself is just showing off, and showing off is shameful. Yes, it has gotten in the way of my pursuit of publication and production. Although I did see one of my reality TV shows produced. We don't talk about that. I am currently working on a novel.
