With words of encouragement from a college instructor, it took Heidi only 40 years to publish her first novel—Chasing North Star. Heidi enjoyed a full career in marketing and television advertising before starting down the writing path. Heidi keeps busy enjoying life with her husband Jon and two grown boys, who are making their own way through life. Today, Heidi fills her non-writing days striving to reach beyond mediocrity on the golf course and pickleball court, all while taking in the beauty of West Michigan. Heidi's second novel, I'm Your Person, publishes January 2027 with She Writes Press, with distribution through Simon and Schuster.

Stingray bicycles, transistor radios, and late nights in the cemetery—just another day in Alamo. That is, until the youngest sibling stumbles upon Didi’s story.
