About

I taught at the University of Southern California for sixteen years and spent over forty years consulting and auditing with a major firm. At USC, I developed a flagship MBA course that combined business strategy with data-grounded debate on human and moral issues—an approach the Business School credited with exceptional student outcomes. My writing explores the tension between lived experience and institutional belief, often in business and academic settings. I have a longstanding interest in the intersection of faith, culture, and public life. Of Gnats and Camels is a literary novel grounded in that exploration, written in part as a love letter to my children. A sequel, Give to Caesar, continues these themes through the lens of major social and institutional systems.
