About
I am an avid reader, and my favorite author is John Grisham. I am a mother of three grown children, a former teacher, coach, and small business owner. My storytelling is rooted in lived history in the Pee Dee and Lowcountry regions of South Carolina. Drawing from her childhood in the 1960s, she crafts middle-grade historical fiction that celebrates resilience, community, and the boundless spirit of youth. With a deep belief that stories can bridge generations, she writes to spark imagination, wonder, and curiosity—offering young readers a vibrant connection to the past that illuminates their present and shapes their future.

Big Joe, The Rainmaker & Nephew Leech
This is not your usual business case study. It is a parable about Big Joe, The Rainmaker & Nephew Leech. The author, Renzie L. Richardson, uses the art of storytelling to shed light on fatal mistakes that can put a business in shambles. When Big Joe, the CEO, returned from his latest global trek and realized the Rainmaker had stolen a major contract, he knew he was on the brink of losing his company. Big Joe had to act fast, and he needed a fixer to help him save his company.
