Humam Al-Shahwani is an Iraqi researcher, author, and academic professional specializing in the intersection of Cybersecurity and Historical Analysis. Born in Baghdad in 1987, he has dedicated his career to bridging the gap between technical innovation and the lessons of the past.
He currently serves as an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science, at the University of Baghdad, a position he has held since 2023. His academic foundation includes a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Education from the University of Mosul (2010) and a Master’s degree in Computer Science, specializing in Internetworking Technology, from Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) in 2019.
