Janelle Ewing is an Australian-born American writer based in Houston, Texas. She writes across genres, with a focus on young adult speculative fiction, short stories, and picture books.
Her current manuscript, The Lost Time Key, is a YA portal fantasy exploring identity, loss, and the consequences of choice, and is currently on submission. Her short fiction has been recognised in international competitions, including the NYC Midnight Microfiction Challenge.
Alongside her writing, Janelle is a wildlife photographer, an active therapy dog volunteer, and French pastry chef. Her work is often inspired by travel, the natural world, and the complex emotional ties between people, place, and memory.
