E. Renee Zaugg, is a seasoned technology leader with over 40 years of experience in driving strategic technology initiatives for Fortune 100 companies. Renee has a demonstrated history of delivering substantial business impact, contributing to over half a billion in savings, boosting earnings per share, and fostering cultural transformation and employee engagement.

As the Vice President & Global Chief Information Officer at Otis Worldwide (2020-2022), Renee played a pivotal role in establishing a new technology organization as they divested from United Technology Corporation. During this period, she expertly navigated the complexities of the Covid-19 pandemic, modernized the global network backbone, and implemented innovative collaboration solutions for software delivery, all while saving over $100 million.

Prior to Otis, Renee served as Senior Vice President at CVS Health, a fortune 5 company, with over 300,000 employees and annual revenue of $260 billion, Here she managed over $1.4 billion in technology assets and led the infrastructure strategy for the CVSH/Aetna integration, reducing expenses by $120 million in a year. Her leadership in big data and machine learning resulted in the creation of a unified data platform, advancing healthcare transformation.
Renee’s career also includes a 37-year tenure at Aetna, here she held various technology leadership positions. As Vice President of Infrastructure and Cloud Development Services, she spearheaded the delivery of the next generation platforms significantly enhancing the digital experience and strengthening the company’s security posture. Her efforts generated $360 million in savings, reflecting her expertise in operational efficiency and technological innovation.
An enthusiastic advocate for diversity, Renee founded the Women’s Leadership Alliance at Aetna, increasing women’s representation in Vice President positions from 23% to 33.6%. Renee served as the executive sponsor for the Women in Technology Employee Resource Group (ERG) at Otis.

Renee has served on several prominent advisory boards, including Microsoft Services, Rocket Software, Red Hat, and Verizon Healthcare.
