Josef E. Silvia is a Boston based author and playwright with over fifteen years experience writing, producing, and directing children's and family theater productions. He is the founder and Artistic Director of YFE Theatrical Productions, a non-profit community theater dedicated to inspiring children and families through black box productions and staged radio plays. With literacy on the decline within the United States, Josef has worked hard to reinvent and reinterpret classic plays and literature for young audiences. His adapted work of PINOCCHIO was published in 2016 and has been performed around the United States.

In 2016, Josef published his first novel entitled SNOW: JOURNEY THROUGH THE MYSTIC FOREST; a YA Fantasy novel which kicked off the “Mystic Forest Book Series.” This series culminated in three books and a prequel. Josef wrote his first children’s book in 2018 and is currently working on an Advent Devotional Book for children and families.
