Shelli Brunswick is a globally recognized author, speaker, strategist, and futurist who bridges insights from the space ecosystem with leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship, and policy across sectors.

She is the author of the What’s Space Got to Do With It? book series, which translates lessons from the space industry into practical frameworks for everyday people, founders, and organizations. Her work introduces the Space Mindset—grounded in long-term vision, systems thinking, and global perspective—and applies it to leadership and decision-making in complex, fast-changing environments.

Shelli’s thinking is informed by deep engagement at the intersection of science, leadership, and global collaboration. She is a Visiting Scholar with the Blue Marble Space Institute of Science and an International Space University International Space University SSP26 Team Project Chair, advancing interdisciplinary, systems-level approaches that connect space-derived perspectives to real-world challenges on Earth.

Her work is further shaped by active board and governance leadership focused on responsible innovation and sustainable impact. She serves as a Board Member of the Swiss Academy of Leadership & Sustainability and as Global Chair of the G100 Space Technology & Aviation Wing, where she convenes executives and policymakers to advance inclusive, cross-sector strategies in space and aviation.

A sought-after keynote speaker, Shelli shares insights on leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship, and the future of technology at global forums including the World Economic Forum, the United Nations General Assembly Science Summit, LEAP, and DeepFest. Her perspectives are regularly featured through Forbes Technology Council, Global Trends Magazine, and other international platforms.

Earlier in her career, Shelli served in the United States Air Force, working on space acquisition and policy initiatives supporting national security and complex, multi-stakeholder programs. She later served as Chief Operating Officer of Space Foundation, leading global partnerships and workforce development efforts connecting industry, government, and academia.

Today, through her writing, speaking, and advisory work, she helps leaders and organizations worldwide turn complexity into opportunity—and bold ideas into meaningful, real-world impact.
