I am a practicing Trauma and Critical Care Surgeon. I practiced for 8 years at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Las Vegas, Nevada and now am the Trauma Medical Director at a Level 2 Trauma Center in Wisconsin. While in Las Vegas, I also volunteered as a Tactical Physician for the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department SWAT Team. I have authored over 40 peer-reviewed articles in the field of Trauma, General Surgery, and Burns, and while they are certainly publications, they are not the type of writing most people want to read.

I am an avid reader of all types of books including both fiction and nonfiction. I am currently working on my first novel.
