About
Cairelle Perilloux writes at the crossroads of genealogy, folklore, women’s spirituality, and science. A registered nurse, medical writer, and genealogist, she brings an evidence-based perspective to metaphysical subjects, weaving history and science with story and tradition. She is the author of "The Magic in Your Genes" and the forthcoming "Motherline Grimoire," and her poetry has appeared in multiple anthologies. Her current projects include an oracle deck, an astrology book, and a novel about genealogy, love, and the complicated ways we decide who belongs to us. When she’s not traveling the world in search of grandmothers or riding on a Mardi Gras float in her hometown of New Orleans, Cairelle lives in Virginia.

Motherline Grimoire: Spells, Rituals, and Ancestor Magic to Connect with Your Sacred Lineage
Motherline Grimoire is a research-grounded guide for magical people who feel the ancient pull of their maternal bloodline. Blending accessible science on mitochondrial DNA with ritual practice, intuitive genealogy, and elemental magic, this book teaches that ancestry is not just a record to observe from afar but a living flame carried in every cell. Whether you are completely new to lineage work or already deep in ancestral practice, the teachings are offered in clear, welcoming language that invites exploration through both fact and spirit. In these pages, the history of the maternal line rises as a sacred current of memory, instinct, and fire that can be fed, healed, and reclaimed. With poetic insight and wise-woman guidance, Motherline Grimoire leads the reader back to the ancient hearth fires of origin, belonging, and the fierce love of the women who came before.
