Mark W. Tatge is a writer, author, editor and writing coach. He spent 30 years as an award-winning journalist and has published four books, including a personal memoir about Robert Ditmore, founder of United Healthcare.

Tatge has spent 12 years in academia as a visiting professor, program administrator and fundraiser. He has helped three major universities revamp journalism curriculum, updating it for the digital world.

As a journalist, Tatge specialized in complex financial investigations and explanatory journalism. He has worked at Forbes Magazine, Forbes.com, The Wall Street Journal, the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Dallas Morning News, Denver Post and Wisconsin State Journal. Tatge has appeared as an economic and market commentator on ABC, CNBC, MSNBC, CNN, FOX and PBS stations and is widely quoted by major media outlets. At Forbes, Tatge was Midwest Bureau Chief responsible for the magazine’s print, Web and video operations.
