I have decades of experience as a songwriter, poet, and essayist. Under the name Vanessa Cardui, my writing has appeared in On Spec Magazine (#106, 2017) and two anthologies from Laksa Media (Shades Within Us, 2018 and Seasons Between Us, 2021). My poem “Joe” was nominated for an Aurora award for Best Poem/Song in 2022. I am a member of GetABookDeal101’s private writers’ group Pitch to Published.
