About

I have been writing fiction since minoring in creative writing as an undergrad, and while a career in legal research and raising a young family demand a lot of my time, I have continued to work at writing’s craft and find great excitement and pleasure in this pursuit. I have also grown to appreciate the communal aspect of writing, taking several novel workshops over the last few years, including two novel generator classes at 92NY. When thinking about the often-agonizing work of writing, I return to Henry James’ famous saying: “We work in the dark—we do what we can—we give what we have. Our doubt is our passion, and our passion is our task. The rest is the madness of art.“
