About
I'm a US author of thrillers, science fiction, and mystery-suspense.
In a past life, I worked as a defense electrical engineer on the frontline iron of the Cold War: the A-10A Warthog (yes, test-firing that 30 mm Gatling cannon is as cool as it sounds), the M1A1 and M1A1HA Abrams battle tanks with the 120 mm gun, and the AH-64A Apache tank-killer and Black Hawk helicopters.
Through my twenties and thirties, I wrote obsessively—over 27 novels, 30 screenplays, and a few detours into horror—just for the sheer rush of it, my creativity pouring out of me. Then life took over. The manuscripts were boxed away in the attic while building a career and raising a family.
Decades later, the boxes are open, the dust is off, engines are running, and the stories are finally getting out into the world.
I live in New Jersey with an extraordinary wife and three grown kids—who somehow still think I’m alright. No complaints here.
I can also cook up a storm!

The Elevator, A Paranormal Horror Novella
Sheila stayed late after work on a Friday evening to get ready for a date. But when a skyscraper elevator shudders to a halt between floors, she is sealed in with five total strangers.
The buttons are dead. The alarm won’t work. The lights dim, and the air is thinning.
As claustrophobia gives way to madness, Sheila finds herself trapped with an unhinged killer and fighting for her life. But a homicidal maniac is the least of her problems. Locked inside with them is a strange presence hiding a dark secret far worse than any human cruelty.
Under a rising full moon, not everyone will leave the steel cab alive.
And whatever emerges will be changed forever.
The Elevator is the pulse-pounding first installment in A Full Moon Horror Novella series.
