I feel blessed to have enjoyed several fascinating phases to my career. I am a retired college President, a former journalist, a former professor, a folklorist, a storyteller, and an author. (Not to mention husband, father to two amazing young men, and more.)

I have published two young-adult novels, two books about Inuit culture, and a textbook used in magazine-editing courses nationwide—with more on the way.
