About
I am a Senior Executive, expert in leading transformation across federal government, regulatory policy development, public accounting, strategic planning, AI, and data analytics. As a visionary leader and strategic innovator, I have built a career at the intersection of finance, regulation, technology, and public policy.
Currently I am a Board Member of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB), shaping audit regulations and compliance standards for public companies and SEC-registered broker-dealers.
I have been profiled in The Wall Street Journal and quoted in Bloomberg, Reuters, and The Financial Times. I am an accomplished public speaker on technology, auditing, and financial data modernization and have written articles in the Journal of Accountancy, AGA Journal, AICPA Issue Brief, and more.
Known as a lone dissenter and contrarian, the Wall Street Journal stated, “Accounting oversight board member Christina Ho, often the sole voice of dissent, has voted against more rules than anyone in the watchdog’s [PCAOB’s] two-decade history.” Another major financial regulation news outlet also stated, “Ho’s willingness to chart her own path – and question some of the motivations underpinning the PCAOB’s push – has found an appreciative audience in the business community and the accounting industry, especially smaller firms that see her as a much-needed ally.”
I immigrated to the USA from Macau in 1990 and live with my daughter in Washington DC.
