About
Áille Róis writes psychological, emotionally immersive romance with a gothic edge—stories rooted in inner conflict, raw emotion, and the complexities of being human. Inspired by the haunting beauty of Beauty and the Beast and the brooding intensity of Edgar Allan Poe, her work lingers in the space where darkness meets desire, and vulnerability becomes power.
Married since 2006, she's a wife, a mother of two spirited boys (one of whom is autistic), and a lifelong lover of music, literature, and character-driven storytelling. Though she didn't always read romance, her heart was won by the emotional pull of visual novels in the 2010s—and she's been writing ever since.
When she's not crafting stories, she's spending time with her family—bowling, mini golfing, watching anime and movies, or gaming together or separately on whatever devices are nearby. Her emotional support cat, Eve, rules the house with a velvet paw, tolerating humans only when it suits her.
Twisted Obsession is her debut novel, with more to come. For those seeking signed copies or exclusive bonus items, details can be found through her personal shop, linked via her author platforms.
