About
Elizabeth Fyne has degrees in biology and neuroscience and spent fourteen years working in biomedical research before she turned to writing fiction. Her unpublished literary novel, "Sex With a Crocodile," was long-listed for the 2022 Santa Fe Writers Project Literary Award. Her unpublished literary novel, "The Speed of Free Fall," was a finalist in the 2020 Book Pipeline Unpublished contest. Her story, "Wolves from the Sky," was second place winner in The Molotov Cocktail Folked-Up Flash contest (2022). She has three stories available in traditionally published anthologies. Additional stories are published in "34thParallel," "Intima: A Journal of Narrative Medicine," "Literary Orphans," "Anastamos," "X-R-A-Y Literary Magazine," "Coal Hill Review," "Pipeline Artists," "Hobart," "The Molotov Cocktail," and "Maudlin House." All fiction is published as Liz Fyne. Her debut novel, "Where Lions Go to Die," is forthcoming from She Writes Press in 2027.
