About
Bob Rothman was a newspaper journalist for six years before attending law school. After graduation, he became a trial lawyer at an Atlanta law firm, where he practiced for more than 38 years. Although he primarily handled business disputes and media defense work, Bob also spent ten years representing a death row inmate in post-conviction proceedings. He is a member, and has served as chair, of the American Bar Association Section of Litigation and served as Chair of the ABA Death Penalty Representation Project. His first novel, A Terrible Guilt, was published in 2024, and his second novel, The Shark's Protege, will be published in April 2026.
