About

Felicia Lee is a writer, editor, and former researcher in linguistics who’s passionate about helping thought leaders bridge the gap between the academic and commercial publishing worlds. Her work is informed by her extensive experience navigating both spheres: During her academic career, she published over two dozen papers along with a monograph published by Springer. As an editor, she has also helped researchers from a range of disciplines prepare manuscripts for major publishers including Bloomsbury Academic and Wiley. Her commercial writing includes essays in publications including the Los Angeles Times and Salon.com, along with short stories in a number of anthologies. In addition, she has helped scholars from institutions including Harvard Medical School and MIT Open Learning develop books for non-academic audiences. She holds a BA (with honors) and MA in English from Stanford University and a Ph.D. in linguistics from UCLA.
