A Mark in the Road
Every tire track tells a story—at least that's what accident experts say. And thanks to a supernatural gift, there's no better expert than eighteen-year-old Mason.
Mason sees the cause of each skid mark he crosses. His mind floods with a silent video of every car accident, dead animal, near miss, and injured person. Even though he curses his secret "gift," when his long-time crush begs him to drive cross-country to help her move, he can't say no. He now must face what he thought was his greatest fear—the open road.
But when a woman disappears 2,000 miles away, the skid marks left near her abandoned car change everything.
As Mason and Addie drive closer to danger, he realizes that keeping some gifts a secret can be deadly.
