Former public radio reporter Mary Losure now turns her investigative skills to writing narrative nonfiction. She's at work now on a book about Charles's Darwin's OTHER voyage of scientific discovery, post HMS Beagle: his Quixotic and little known exploration of the hidden world of plants.

Her book ISAAC THE ALCHEMIST:SECRETS OF ISAAC NEWTON, REVEAL’D, (Candlewick Press, 2017) won starred reviews from Kirkus, School Library Journal, and The Horn Book.
