Samara King is a multifaceted author known for her captivating sexy contemporary romances, gripping romantic suspense, and evocative historical romances penned under the pseudonym Olivia Alicia. Her passion for storytelling began in grade school, where she would sneak off to the library to devour novels, blending early literary exploration with her academic pursuits.
When she's not crafting compelling heroes inspired by the likes of Morris Chestnut and Channing Tatum or the next must-have-him, Samara enjoys sipping cinnamon coffee during her mindful mornings, indulging in popcorn (she's a popcorn addict - Olivia Pope sytle) during movie nights featuring suspense or romantic comedies, and embracing hobbies like dancing, language learning, and plant shopping (with varying degrees of success at keeping them alive).
At Crave Novellas LLC, Samara has established herself as a powerhouse in the romance genre. Her literary repertoire extends beyond novels, as she is an accomplished poet. In 2011, she was nominated for Poet of the Year by African Americans On The Move Bookclub. Her poetry collection, The Ebony Kryptonite, received critical acclaim and paved the way for her spoken word EP, Stripped Barefoot, which achieved notable success, reaching #20 in Chicago’s Top 40 on Reverbnation in 2013.
