About
I'm a public high school teacher in Brooklyn and a former newspaper reporter for the Chicago Tribune, Eugene Register-Guard, Realtor magazine, Able News and other publications. My poetry and photos have appeared in BarBar and THAT Literary Review. Also, I was a textbook writer/editor for an NGSS math curricula at the Center on Teaching and Learning at the University of Oregon, my alma mater (M.S. Education.)
Currently, I'm an NSF Climate Change Fellow at Columbia University (M.S. College Advising). Previously I served as a Teacher Park Ranger with the National Park Service at Floyd Bennett Field.
My focus is on vivid imagery and inventive wordplay. I'm curious about all things 19th century American Gothic. More at dabadelic.com and stedi-education.com.
