A former journalist and award-winning advertising copywriter, Cathy is currently querying her first middle-grade novel, which was awarded First Place in the Children’s/Young Adult Fiction category of the 94th Annual Writer’s Digest Writing Competition. She also enjoys penning essays and is a seven-time shortlisted author in the Faulkner-Wisdom Creative Writing Competition. A mom of three almost full-blown adults, she lives in the heart of Atlanta, GA, with her husband and rescue pup. When not writing, she can be found on a tennis court or spending time with family, friends, and her dog, who shares her obsession with the fuzzy yellow ball.
