About
Julia Bendis is a third-generation matchmaker, an author, relationship, dating and intimacy educator. She founded Match by Julia back in 2004; it has grown into a successful matchmaking and relationship service that has helped thousands of people for over two decades (not to mention many babies born due to her work). Julia Bendis was born in Ukraine and lived in Latvia with her family - they immigrated to America in 1989. To this day, she is the only matchmaker and relationship coach located in Orange County and serving singles and couples all over California and United States.
Julia truly believes that food, intimacy and human connections are the most important aspects of life and a big reason why she spends her life educating people about relationships and how to date properly.
With each client, Julia gets to know them on a personal level, their needs, wants and desires for their future mate; and with the help of her Numerology charts - she is able to go deeper into their personality and specific traits for their life.
Julia's podcast called 'Someone Had to Say it' has been listed as one of the Top 10 globally ranked podcasts and it brings her great joy to interview interesting and influential people - authors, coaches, medical and religious experts among many other talents.
When she isn’t working (which seems to be all the time), Julia is meddling into her sons' love lives, cooking for everyone around her and helping those in need. Julia’s passions have always been helping victims of human trafficking, victims of domestic violence and advocating for women’s rights.
In 2020 Julia published a comedic book about her life in the former Soviet Union called ‘No Smiling Allowed: Growing up in Soviet Russia and other funny stories from a Jewish immigrant’. It’s available in print edition or as an audiobook on Amazon. She resides in Southern California with her husband while trying to catch up with their adult sons who fly helicopters, ride motorcycles and race cars.
