Diana is a writer, performing artist, podcaster and lifelong learner. She was the Founding Artistic Director of The Children’s Shakespeare Theatre for 21 years. During her tenure, she directed over 70 productions and CST was chosen to represent the entire USA at the World Festival of Children’s Theatre in 2016.
As a writer, Diana has created short plays that were performed by the Phoenix Theatre Ensemble. She wrote submersive theater pieces for The Edward Hopper House Museum in Nyack, as well as for Artwalk:Nyack. Her one-woman play, Match.Mom, was accepted for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2020.
Diana just completed an MA in Shakespeare at The Shakespeare Institute in Stratford-upon-Avon. During this course she was the head writer of a play that was produced at The RSC’s Other Place. Among numerous other awards, Diana was honored to receive a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Arts Council of Rockland.
