I'm a freelance writer, former magazine editor and book author. I was EIC of Geek Monthly magazine between 2006 and 2020 and worked as an editor on Cinefantastique and Femme Fatales magazine between 2003 and 2006. I've written hundreds of liner notes booklets for record labels including La-La-Land Records, MGM Records, Intrada Records, Quartet Records and Varese Sarabande Records. I've written about a dozen books and a number for Titan Publishing in the UK including The Fantasy Worlds of Irwin Allen, The World of the Orville, The Art and Making of Narcos, The Crow: The Definitive History and others. I'm currently working with Kyle Newman on Star Trek: A Visual History, a 60th anniversary book for Penguin Publishing.
