Alia Tawil is a dress history enthusiast and mystery writer, descending from a long, maternal line of librarians who deserve every inkblot of credit for her passion for the written word. She is a proud member of The Association of Dress Historians, The Costume Society of America, The Editorial Freelancer's Association, and Sisters in Crime, currently serving as the president of the Michigan chapter. Her debut novel is scheduled for release in March 2027 with Lake Union Publishing. When not writing or thrifting her wardrobe, Alia can most often be found drinking coffee and spending time with her husband and three children. She lives in Michigan.
