About

Lucinda Gerlitz is a retired computer programmer living in Manchester, TN. She graduated from the University of Tennessee with a BA in English and Computer Science. Her debut novel, MANNERS OR MAYHEM, won the Claymore Award for Best Cozy Mystery in the 2023 Killer Nashville contest, and was also awarded second runner up for Best Unpublished Manuscript. She has written user manuals for IBM and has had essays published in newspapers and online. She is a member of Sisters in Crime and the Coffee County Writers Group.

Lucinda collects antique and modern etiquette books and publishes a newsletter titled Etiquette Can Be Murder. When she’s not looking up fun and funky tips on proper decorum to share with her readers, she can usually be found plotting new murders or chasing after her two completely unmannerly kittens.
