About

I’m a Latina, certified translator, and domestic violence survivor whose legal background and personal journey help shape my writing's cultural lens and the portrayal of trauma, resilience, and women’s experiences in the military. A former U.S. Department of Defense Language Specialist assigned to the Army at Fort Leavenworth, I was featured in MultiLingual Magazine’s “Top 30 Women in Translation” and Alberoni’s “Greatest Women in Translation” series. I’m a member of the St. Louis Writers Guild and the Romance Writers of America and hold a law degree (LL.B.), an MBA, and an MA, with novel-writing coursework completed under Tom Bromley, Emily Colin, and Julie Artz.
I speak English, Portuguese, and Spanish.
